  • UGH THE WRITING 
  • EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHY IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO READ THIS BOOK (i mean, it took a day to read, but it took years to pick up the book is what i mean)

#ugh ugh ugh   #and this just makes the whole baz luhrmann making a version thing even more painful   #because yeah ~unpopular opinion- i hate him and is leonardo dicaprio really playing gatsby because that is the actual dumbest thing i've ever heard in my entire life   #i don't hate leo   #i'm not a huge fan either but seriously he is not gatsby   #but mostly i have a problem with luhrmann   #but whatever i'll just watch an older version or no version and re-read this book but wow was it amazing   #sorry for my lack of coherency but it was so good
