Like, lbr here, if you believe that gay people, poor people, lady people, misfit people, immigrant people, black people, brown people, multi-colored people, hardworking people, smart people, and sane people are gross and you, wealthy white male whose hobbies include counting your money and counting your money, are awesome you probably learned your morals from this lady:

If you’re voting for Mitt Romney, you hate puppies.
(lbr though, Cruella is 502% superior to Mittens because her hair is cool and she has a theme song)

dinahs replied to your post: Mmm, she had a bad attitude, though. She legit slapped her coach’s hand out of the way when he tried to console her, and… idk idk.
For real. And she smiled all the way through and just GUH YOU LITTLE ANGEL.
AHH I KNOW
one thing about the russians was that they were sometimes technically perfect or completely graceful but they rarely seemed as genuinely happy as gabby always did?? ughgh like gabby is just somebody to root for in every single way i’m so glad about this
but again i know they’re all incredibly passionate, there’s no way you can be at the olympics and not be 216% committed and in love

There were legitimately people in my Diversity class wondering why English teachers should be required to teach multicultural literature. I was just sitting there like… wtf.
cute
And it’s not like I haven’t been guilty of this, I complained about the all-female lit we were assigned two summers ago back when I was an overall gross human being (let’s not talk about that), but the thing is IT’S VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And we shouldn’t have to go out of our ways to take female or African American or World literature, or it should not be an afterthought, these should be voices that we here as a REQUIREMENT in General Literature courses, like hello American Lit that would have been a good time to read Frederick Douglass’s autobiography maybe? Or like, one of our numerous female authors?

And you know I love that fandom, but the hate and the sexism and the everything else is ridiculous.
I like the sane sections of the fandom, the same way I feel about GoT. The show itself I really do love, it’s just hard to keep cool when their only complaints about another Sherlock show are blatantly racist/sexist, like I thought we were past this????
dinahs replied to your post: dinahs replied to your post: i just watched shame…
I can’t. I legitimately think that my dad waits for sex scenes in films — he comes downstairs, looks at us, then just shakes his head and walks out.
HAHA oh my god
my dad is the type who let us watch ANYTHING as kids and took us to see Avenue Q as 8/10 year olds (much to the disapproval of the retired ticket ladies at the door) but he’ll get these moments of guilt and be like “you can’t watch that it’s inappropriate!!111”
