Part 62 of me buying books that I don’t have time to read because I already have 72,000 at home and from the library. I’ve got The Thin Man which was a must on account of the description: “a rich, glamorous couple who solve homicides in between wisecracks and martinis.” Also a double feature by Nathanael West and a book called To Dance with Kings which touts itself as a multi-generational saga of Versailles spanning from my main man the Sun King to the revolution.
